THRESHER AND IMPLEMENT PATENTS
The following patents involve threshers and other farm implements. While Buffalo Pitts was known for its steam traction engines and, of course, its threshers, the company also manufactured many other farm implements over the years, such as: rollers, harrows, wagons, dump wagons, cultivators, buggies, hay rakes, powers (also known as horse powers or swing powers) and much more.
MARQUIS J TODD PATENTS

MOSTLY THRESHER & IMPLEMENT PATENTS
The following patents are assigned to long-time Buffalo Pitts engineer Marquis J. Todd (A.K.A. MJ Todd). They mostly involve Harrows, etc.
These are listed here separately because they are a mystery to your webmaster. You see, they are not assigned to Buffalo Pitts, but instead are merely assigned to M.J. Todd himself. Further, the first few patents give M.J. Todd as being a resident of Corning, NY. However, all those thereafter list him as living in Buffalo, NY.
There are times when an employee can take out a patent himself, even for technology directly related to his daytime job. This has happened more often in the past, and is highly unlikely today as most employees sign a patent agreement before their first day at work.
Finally, there's patent #575,579 of 1897 that is unusual for two reasons. First, it lists M.J. Todd as living in corning, NY, even though patents before and after this date show him to be living in Buffalo. Second, and more importantly, this patent is assigned NOT to Buffalo Pitts BUT to the National Harrow Company of Utica, NY. This really has your webmaster stumped.
So, without furth ado (or without further webmaster gabbing), here are Marquis J. Todd patents NOT assigned to Buffalo Pitts. Again, the relationship of these patents to Buffalo Pitts is not known and cannot even be easily conjectured.
